DC Shared Services Business Alliance

DC Shared Services Business Alliance (DC SSBA) is an alliance of child development homes, expanded child development homes and child development centers in the District of Columbia. This program is administered by Hurley and Associates, Inc. through a grant from the Office of State Superintendent of Education (OSSE).

Information for Child Development Facilities

The DC SSBA provides administrative and business support functions to participating child development home and center providers, to enable providers more time in their day to focus on the care and education of children and not feel overwhelmed with operational and administrative functions through a team of experienced child care specialists. It also has established community partnerships with Capital Quality, the District’s quality rating and improvement system (QRIS), DC Child Care Connections (DC CCC), the District’s child care resource and referral (CCR&R) program, and the Quality Improvement Network, an Early Head Start Child Care Partnership program, as collaborators to extend support and resources to the DC SSBA members.

To maintain membership in the DC SSBA, providers must complete the initial intake and orientation process, participate in training opportunities and meet with their DC SSBA child care specialist
